Newly promoted African Lyon at home to Toto FC

VISITING Toto African are expected top play hosts African Lyon in their first meeting this season at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam today.

The match is a final to wind up fifth round of the Mainland premier soccer league with the exception of another match between Yanga and Ruvu JKT that remains pending.

The visitors will have to be cautious as they need victory to lift themselves from the early relegation shockwaves. The Mwanza boys have attained three points after four appearances as their hosts are tenth-placed with five points to their collection.

Both teams have won a single game but coach John Tegete of Toto will have to shuffle his cards right to lead his team into victory, as a move to disengage from the tide-rising relegation pool.

A win for Lyon will for sure elevate the newly promoted side into the comfortable zone of the premiership standings with eight points.

While Lyon have lost just one game out of four, Toto have been beaten three times to find the season highly turbulent early on.

Toto seem to have a problem in their forwardline as they have managed to score just one goal in 360 minutes as contrasted to their opponents who have celebrated four goals in the same spell.
