Speaking in Dar es Salaam yesterday, TFF president, Wallace Karia said Simba players must know that Sevilla FC is one of high-flying teams in the world and the former have to show their best in the encounter in order to win hearts of the visitors’ technical bench and officials.
Karia said Simba players have been given the golden chance to play against the famous team in Europe and recording the best results is the former’s task.
“Every coach in the world prefers to work with talented and committed players. Sevilla FC will be visiting the country during the off season, it is an opportunity for players who focus on playing abroad,” Karia said.
Karia also commended SportPesa Tanzania for their efforts to stimulate the development of football in the country.
“To be sincerely, SportPesa Tanzania have so far done tremendous job in developing football in the country. They have managed to bring English Premier League side, Everton FC,” he added.
“Recently, English Premier League club Southampton FC instructors conducted special coaching course for more than 30 domestic coaches apart from training for the youths, we have been impressed by the efforts made by the firm.”
Meanwhile, SportPesa Tanzania have disclosed the encounter, which has been scheduled to start from 7pm at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, will be televised live through MultiChoice Tanzania’s DStv Super Sport 9.
SportPesa Tanzania Director of Administration and Compliance, Tarimba Abbas, said all preparations ahead of the encounter are complete and the company is expecting a thrilling match.
