Simba host newcomers Lipuli

Simba host Lipuli of Iringa at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam this afternoon.

The Msimbazi Street side last used the stadium on October 28 in the match against archrivals Yanga which ended 1-1.

Simba later travelled to Mbeya where they defeated Mbeya City 1-0 and again beating Prisons with the same margin in  matches staged at the Sokoine Stadium.

However, Simba will miss the services of striker Emmanuel Okwi who got injured when he turned for his national team, Uganda Cranes.

The absence of the Ugandan will be a blow to Simba.

Simba coach James Omog said that the team will fight hard to make sure that they win at home.

The Zambian coach said that Lipuli was a good side who drew with defending champions Yanga.

Simba have 22 points while Lipuli have 13.
