The Mozambican midfielder was among the key players for Simba SC as the club performed well in this season's CAF Champions League.
Simba SC made it to the last eight's stage of the premier continental football competition at club level before they were eliminated by South Africa giants, Kaizer Chiefs, on a 4-3 aggregate defeat.
The midfielder was particularly impressive when Simba SC came up against the Egyptian giants, scoring a beautiful goal during their first meeting at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The Group A tie saw Simba SC shock Al Ahly with a 1-0 win.
Miquissone said that what he is facing at the moment is common during transfer windows but those teams that have been looking for him should first come to Simba SC leadership as he still has a contract with the side.
"You know everything about my registration with Simba SC, I still have a contract with them so if there are other teams that need me they should first start there and then I will be informed by my officials," the midfielder noted.
His goal against Al Ahly could be the best goal of the tournament this season.
The Mozambican revealed: "What I know is that there are many teams not only here in Africa but also in Europe. I have seen many agents, I have directed them to my club leadership," the player said.
Miquissone has a one-and-a-half-year contract with Simba SC.
Earlier, Simba’s leadership, through the club's Board of Directors' vice-chairman, Salim Abdallah, said they are ready to let Miquissone go if the clubs that want him will meet the figure they set.
“That is our position...if there is any team out there that needs [Miquissone], and they will agree to give us the amount we are asking for, then we will release him,” Abdallah said.
Simba has made a minimum fee of $ 600,000 and, while the outfit is listening to the clubs, they have also started a search for a replacement.
There are several players linked to moving to Simba, one of whom is Zambian Moses Phiri from Zanaco.
Al Ahly already sent an e-mail to acquire Miquissone and the team has been impressed with the midfielder for reasons, namely his talent, age, and the amount the money they will pay for his signature.
Miquissone showcased a good performance in his club's clash against Al Ahly at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Al Ahly's head coach Pitso Mosimane was impressed with the midfielder he used to coach at South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns during his tenure at the outfit.
Simba SC's Board of Directors will convene a meeting, which will be attended by head coach Didier Gomes, to decide on whether to sell Miquissone to Ah Ahly or not.
