Ugandan international, Taddeo Lwanga, scored the winner as Simba SC beat traditional rivals Yanga 1-0 in the well-attended final.
The 1-0 win meant the Msimbazi Street side, which also emerged as this season's Premier League winners a few weeks ago, has clinched two major tournaments' trophies in Tanzania.
The closely contested ASFC final, which was watched by a mammoth crowd in Kigoma, appeared to be ending as a goalless stalemate in 90 minutes but Lwanga then netted for Simba.
Former Uganda's SC Villa and Vipers SC captain broke the hearts of Yanga fans with a goal the player netted in the last 10 minutes of the game, the player's team then held on to the lead up to the final whistle.
''Simba SC's leadership has had the side achieving all goals we have set, we congratulate everyone, players, technical bench and the team's investor, without the investor we would not be here,'' Barbara disclosed.
With the 2020/2021 season coming to an end, she did not want to disclose their next season's plans.
Barbara briefly noted: ''Let us wait until the pre-season begins when the team will be coming from a rest.''
The Simba CEO further jokes her club is pleased to lift top honour by beating Yanga that had beat the rivals in a top-flight duel.
The official noted: "Today we have shown our outfit's virtuosity by coming out victorious, and if you ask us to choose either garnering a three-point league victory or winning a Federation Cup I will tell you I will choose to clinch the Federation Cup.''
Simba SC lost 1-0 to Yanga in their last Premier League tie which took place at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on July 3 this year.
The Premier League winners were, therefore, keen on getting revenge against Yanga.
Yanga was as well seeking to settle scores with Simba for a 4-1 loss the former suffered to the latter in the previous season's Federation Cup last four's stage.
