Clifford Ndimbo, TFF information officer, said tickets for the match are already on sale.

He urged fans to buy tickets early to avoid matchday inconveniences.

He assured football lovers that there will be maximum security during the clash, which is slated to kick off at 5 pm.

VIP B tickets will each cost 30,000/-, while VIP C tickets will trade at 20,000 each. Popular tickets will be available outside the stadium on match day.

The 'Dar Derby' is the one fixture on the Tanzanian football calendar that brings the country to a standstill, as fans prepare to fill the 60, 000-seater Benjamin Mkapa Stadium for the latest chapter in the archrivals' rich history.

The latest instalment of rivalry will be no less eagerly anticipated than usual despite it being the first time the two sides meet this season.

Both teams regard the Community Shield as a trophy worth winning and an opportunity to land an early psychological blow on rivals for the title.

The Community Shield which is treated as the curtain-raiser to the season is played between the Premier League champions and Federation Cup winners.

Last season Simba achieved the Premier League and Federation Cup double and thus are facing the league runners-up, Yanga.

Simba has the most wins, lifting the Comunity Shield on six different occasions. Yanga stands second in the all-time table with five wins.

Saturday will see the two clubs both playing in their fourth Community Shield derby.

Azam FC and Yanga also hold the record for most defeats in the Community Shield with four losses each.

Both Simba and Yanga will go into the match looking for redemption after suffering 1-0 losses last weekend.

Simba lost 1-0 to DR Congo's TP Mazembe in a friendly clash on Sunday during the Simba Day festival while Yanga lost 1-0 to Rivers United FC of Nigeria to bow out of this season's CAF Champions League.
