Simba seek to tame Stand United

Mainland defending champions Simba welcome Stand United in a Tanzania Premier League match at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam today.

Simba are expected to field a full strength squad after week-long breaks for national teams compete in Afcon qualifying matches.

The Msimbazi Street side are expected to field professionals such us

Emmanuel Okwi and Juuko Murshid, who were called to join Uganda Cranes in qualifying matches against Lesotho are back.

Striker Meddie Kagere and midfielder  Haruna Niyonzima joined Rwanda Amavubi and Cletus Chama was in the Zambia national team, they are all back for the game.

Simba fans will be euphoric after the resurfacing of patron Mohammed Dewji `Mo’ who was kidnapped on October 10.

Simba have 14 points while Stand have 11 points.

Other games on the menu today are; Lipuli FC will host Kagera Sugar at Samora ground in Iringa while Mbao FC play Mtibwa Sugar at the Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza.
