SportPesa Jackpot winner gets cash prize

DAR ES SALAAM resident Yassin Ridhiwani Ally who won SportPes Jackpot prize worth over 437m/- was presented with the cash prize in a function, which took place at SportPesa office in the city yesterday.

Ally, aged 35, laid his hands on 437,631,320/- in cash prize after he had placed right bet on 13 matches.

SportPesa Tanzania’s Chairman of Board of Directors Tarimba Abbas congratulated Ally for the win.

Tarimba pointed out SportPesa are honest in the betting industry and for that matter they are the best company in the industry in the country.

He thanked Tanzania for playing crucial role in his company’s success.

He said; “I use this opportunity to announce a new winner of SportPesa Jackpot prize, Ally, we believe his dream will come true after wining the prize, honestly, it was not easy for him.’’

“An average Tanzania will hardly feel cash worth 437,631,320/- is little amount cash. SportPesa are pleased to see Tanzanians improve their lives.’’

‘’I call on Tanzanians to continue betting via SportPesa, given we will be turning people into millionaires every week.’’

“SportPesa presents prize to every person who has won s long as he or she is aged above 18.’’

“We thank this week’s winners and request them to use the prize wisely, the government also gains from the games given it has got revenue totaling 87m/-.’’

“We also have other winners who have placed right bets on 10, 11 and 12 matches, therefore SportPesa hands over cash prize even to the ones who did not place right bets on all 13 matches.’’

“The most important thing is the tax Ally will pay as per the tax laws, he will pay 20% of the cash prize which totals 87,526, 264/- which will be directed to the government, we are proud of it,’’ he disclosed.

Ally noted he had started betting through SportPesa five months back, he was later motivated to keep on betting after he had seen people win 825m/-.

He disclosed ; “I started betting through SportPesa five months back once I saw winners Magabe and Kingslay get their cash prize, I believed the game and started betting. I thank God I have won.’’

“I thank SportPesa for changing my life. I have been selling snacks and drinks to get cash and meet my daily needs but I will operate a big business, which will somewhat pay me well,’’ he disclosed.

“I have today believed I’m this week’s SportPesa Jackpot winner, although SportPesa informed me of the win on Sunday.’’

 “I use this chance to tell Tanzanians SportPesa hand over cash prize whenever they get winners and, therefore I call on others who are yet to believe the firm and start betting they should start betting given they can win.’’
