The teams meet in a CAF Confederation Group ‘A’ match on Tuesday at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) information officer, Alfred Lucas, said that the Democratic Republic of Congo club will stay in a five star hotel in the city.

Lucas said that a contingent of 32 people was expected, including 18 players and officials.TP Mazembe lead the group after a 3-1 triumph against Ghanaian Medeama FC in a clash in Lubumbashi last Sunday.

Yanga got off to a false start when Algeria's MO Bejaia defeated them 1-0 in their away match last weekend. The loss saw Yanga start in third place, behind second-placed MO Bejaia.

Following last Sunday’s loss, Yanga coach Hans van der Pluijm returned his team to camp in Turkey ahead of the visit of TP Mazembe. The final group of Yanga will return to the city today from Antalya, Turkey where they have been camping since last Sunday. The first lot came yesterday.

Yanga and Mazembe are the most experienced teams in the group, in which case Pluijm and his charges should exploit the upcoming fixture to get their campaign back on track. That way, the tournament equation shall remain largely unaltered for Yanga.

They need home wins and a couple of good results away to stand any good chance of making past the group phase.
