President Samia offers condolences for Iran's Late President Ayatollah Raisi

One day after the burial of the late President of Iran, Ayatollah Raisi, on Friday, May 24, the President Samia Suluhu Hassan, attended the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dar es Salaam and expressed her deep condolences to the government and people of Iran.

After expressing her condolences to each of the Iranian officials present at the embassy, she noted and signed her condolences in the memorial book of the victims of the helicopter crash in Iran. 

In her message, she wrote, "My heartfelt Condolences to the Government of the Islamic Republic of  Iran on the Untimely demise of President Ebrahim Raisi,and Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian. 

Tanzania joins the Iranian people in mourning, and prays for the bereaved families. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Rajiun. Samia Suluhu Hassan; President of the United Republic of Tanzania, 24th May, 2024."
